Our client is a leading construction firm specializing in commercial and residential projects. With a strong commitment to excellence, safety, and employee well-being, they are seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist to join their dynamic team.
As a Senior HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company culture, managing employee relations, and driving HR initiatives. You'll collaborate closely with leadership, project managers, and field teams to ensure a positive work environment and effective HR practices.
Your new role
- Employee Relations: Handle employee inquiries, address concerns, and mediate conflicts. Foster a positive work environment.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage full-cycle recruitment, conduct interviews, and onboard new hires.
- Performance Management: Implement performance appraisal processes, provide feedback, and assist in talent development.
- Policy Development: Develop and update HR policies, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Benefits Administration: Oversee benefits enrollment, leave management, and wellness programs.
- Training and Development: Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, generate reports, and analyze HR data.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, benefits administration, and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
