**Who You Are:**

We are looking for a people-focused sales professional who manages capital and aftermarket sales while coordinating with product development, engineering, factory and field service departments. Leads business development activities. Provides technical direction and business guidance to the sales engineering team. Drives gross profit through new customer development, account management, and resource planning and allocation. Proactively develops and maintains a team of high-performing business developers, sales engineers, and service sales. Continually seeks innovative methods for improving team performance and profitability.

**About the Job:**

* Manages the strategic direction and structure of Business Development, Account Management, Sales Engineering and Aftersales, and actively participates in sales to achieve the forecast.

* Leads by example to develop strong customer, channel and industry relationships that enable market insights, improve win ratios, and creates competitive advantage.

* Generates new business and ensures growth of existing accounts

* Hires, develops, and coaches a professional sales organization by providing prioritization along with timely feedback focused on delivering on commitments and driving results while developing skillsets of the team members to enhance bench strength and career development opportunities.

* Establishes themselves as a known sales professional within the market through participation in industry trade events, thought-leadership opportunities, social media and by supporting sales activities including guiding customers to the best solution for their needs.

* Conducts themselves as a key member of the leadership team by providing guidance and leadership on key initiatives, continuous improvement, and strategy. Provides feedback and support to product development, operations, and field services to enhance competitive advantage.

* Develops, monitors, and reports quarterly / annual KPIs and forecast information.

* Follows all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourages action assuring safe behavior; confronts unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively.

* Complies with all company policies and procedures.

* Conducts himself/herself in a considerate, professional, cooperative, and helpful manner toward fellow employees, customers, vendors, and visitors.

* Assists General Manager with other tasks as needed.

**What You Know:**

* Engineering or Business degree from a 4-year college or university.

* 5 years management experience required; preferred industry related.

* Experienced with multiple channels of distribution including direct sales, national accounts, third party representatives and Sales through intercompany sales channels.

* Knowledge of Oil and gas industry, companies, trends and applications preferred.

* Demonstrates a systematic and analytical approach to business opportunities. Proven problem-solving skills are required and the ability to identify and capitalize on both short and long-term opportunities.

* The position requires a candidate that thrives on challenges and is driven by the need to succeed and the desire to create and realize new opportunities.

**PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:**

Physical Requirements (lifting, climbing, standing, equipment and/or motor vehicle use):

* Extended periods sitting at a desk.

**OTHER REQUIREMENTS**:

* Signing of Non-Competition and/or Invention Agreements

* Domestic and international travel up to 40%
