Responsibilities

The role: QA Test Analyst

As a QA Test Analyst at GUARD, you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment working with software developers and business analysts to test and deploy business processes throughout the organization. You will be a key member of our team that ensures our system is always fast, available and scalable. Your work will be focused to a specific development team with the goal of delivering a quality product that is both stable and reliable.

Responsibilities:

The QA Test Analyst will develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Document software and application defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to developers. Create and maintain databases of known defects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues. May participate in software design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, operational characteristics, product designs, and schedules. Qualifications

• 1-2 years as a QA Test Analyst or similar role
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, accounting, math, finance, statistics, or computer science, strongly preferred. A combination of other certifications/experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Technical Skills (Required):

• Ability to create clear, concise, detail-oriented requirements, specifications, and business requirements documents.
• Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.
• Experience interacting with development, project management, and business partners.
• Proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment and delivering high-quality results
