1. Position Summary:

Plans, directs and coordinates all activities of the designated projects personally or through subordinate project managers. Directs and coordinates the various departments in the satellite office such as billing, account reporting, operations, business development and personnel. Aids the President in formulating and administering organization policies by performing the following duties.

2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

a. Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range goals and objectives.

b. Directs and coordinates activities of the satellite office for which responsibility is delegated to further attainment of goals and objectives.

c. Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine satellite office progress toward stated goals and objectives.

d. Confers with President to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.

e. Serves as member of management committees on special studies.

f. Ensures that goals and objectives of all projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters either personally or through subordinate project managers.

g. Reviews project proposal or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects.

h. Works closely with the Customer, Sales Team, Engineering and Manufacturing on all client projects for defining project scope and objectives.

i. Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.

j. Confers with project staff to outline the work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.

k. Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.

l. Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modified schedules or plans as required.

m. Prepares clear and concise project reports for the client other stakeholders.

n. Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.

o. Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies.

3. Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manages Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and/or team of Project Managers, Superintendents, and Assistant Superintendents. Is responsible for their overall direction, coordination, and evaluation. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

g. Project Management - Develops project plans; coordinates projects; communicates changes and progress; completes projects on time and budget; manages project team activities.

i. Qualifications : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. j. Education/Experience - Bachelor’s (preferred but not required) degree and 10 or more years of General Contracting project Management experience preferably in all but not limited to Commercial, Ground up New and Existing Rehab buildings, Commercial Retail Buildings, Medical Offices & Ambulatory Facilities (No Hospital work required), Educational Buildings, Grocery Store, Site Improvement, Off-Site Improvements, Public Works right-of-way and tenant improvement for all types buildings mentioned above.

Stays abreast of current industry trends and new technology through professional associations, trade journals, networking and associated training and seminars.

k. Language Ability - Read, prepares, analyzes, and interprets technical documents, financial reports, legal documents, project metrics, and trend analysis. Responds to inquiries or complaints from clients, agencies or members or the business community.

5. Mathematical Ability - Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals or plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.

6. Reasoning Ability - Recognize and define problems. Collect data and confer with the necessary parties to establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives suing basic root cause analysis. Apply sense of urgency to ensure problems are properly handled and closed.

7. Computer Skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, MS Project, and Adobe Acrobat Professional, Blue Beam Revue, Plan Grid, Procore, Own cloud, Apple Operating Systems.

8. Certificates and Licenses - Project Management Professional (PMP)
