The Goddard School is Hiring a Media Analytics Manager Near King Of Prussia, PA

GSI currently licenses more than 500 Schools which serve more than 70,000 students in 38 states.

GSI is looking for an energetic and experienced Media Analytics Manager to help scale our most impactful media practices. This individual will manage data from multiple sources (including web, media, and warehoused data) and translate it into high-quality and actionable insights and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and drive enrollments. This person will be responsible for not only ensuring the correct Google tracking but also for a deeper level of reporting insights, including MMA and closed loop analysis, to determine channel specific and overarching media performance and interaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with marketing leadership to establish and maintain weekly/ monthly dashboard reporting to track business KPIs (e.g., traffic, leads, conversion, etc…) against plan at the systemwide and regional levels 
  • Validate and consolidate data from multiple data platforms (web analytics, ad servers, data warehouses) to deliver reporting and provide analysis 
  • Manage traffic sourcing hierarchy (e.g., UTM parameters, ad stack integrations, etc..) in Google Analytics for all marketing channels including but not limited to (Site, Email, SMS, Display, OLV, Streaming, Paid Social, Search, and SEO) 
  • Consult with leadership to solve complex business issues and provide ad-hoc reporting and analytic support as needed
  • Develop site pathing reporting and share out with leadership 
  • Assist leadership with systemwide and regional business forecasts
  • Develop and maintain reporting for and analysis of overall media mix and provide recommendation channel recommendation.
  • Leverage advanced attribution (e.g., MMA, closed loop, etc.) to evaluate the impact of the paid media mix and advise on future mix
  • Partner with engagement and media teams to ensure A/B test set-up integrity, statistically validate results, and align on recommendations. 
  • Analyze data from a single or multiple data sources to report on-site performance and lead generation 
  • Monitor primary sources of data daily and ensure accuracy & validity
  • Alter Google Analytics configurations to fit business needs 
  • Partner with other departments (Marketing, IT, Ops., etc) to help drive insights, identify opportunities, and understand behavior and long-term trends
  • Manage and administrate Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager environments

Job Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA is a plus. An advanced degree in research, marketing, media, statistics, or equivalent level of experience is highly desirable 
  • 7 years of progressive work experience in marketing analytics & business
  • Experience with the following in Google Analytics: 
  • Creating and auditing event and goals 
  • Administering traffic/ channel source hierarchy (channel groupings, UTM parameters 
  • Creating customized reporting and dashboards (including data exports) 
  • Analyzing user on-site behavior flows/ journeys
  • Experience creating, testing, and performing quality assurance on tags, triggers, and variables within the Google Tag Manager Environment 
  • Proficiency in data visualization design and development in business intelligence software such as Power BI & Google Data Studio
  • Ability to think both creatively and strategically
  • Detail Oriented
  • Experience working in Qualtrics or other survey software suites
  • Deep understanding of data and digital media ecosystems and experience with MMM, MMA, and closed loop systems of measurement and analysis

  • Strong analytical skills. Ability to apply analytics to business issues (i.e., segmentation analysis, marketing mix modeling) as well as apply analytical skills to understanding business performance (i.e., predictive modeling, price elasticity)
  • Strong time management, problem solving, planning, and organization skills to work on multiple projects for success in a results-oriented environment. 
  • The ability to be self-motivated and to work independently.
