MRE Advisors is currently looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented bookkeeper to join our team. As a bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing our client's books and ensuring the accuracy of the financial statements. The ideal candidate should have experience in bookkeeping and possess excellent organizational and analytical skills. Key responsibilities include categorization and reconciliation of accounts, monthly journal entries, client reporting, and maintaining accurate records.

The successful candidate should be skilled in using QuickBooks. Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently are essential for this role.

Position is part-time with the ability to grow to full-time.

Responsibilities:

• Bank and credit card reconciliation
• Recording payroll
• Monthly financial reporting
• Sales tax reporting
• Journal entries
• Following Amortization schedules
• Emailing and communicating with clients effectively
• Filing receipts and invoices

Required Skills:

• Bookkeeping
• Ability to handle multiple financial tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
• Accounting software proficiency (QuickBooks)
• Microsoft Excel (formulas, tables Pivot tables)
