TRC Talent Solutions is Hiring a Part Time Administrative Assistant Near St. Louis, MO

Part-Time Administrative Assistant - $20.00 - Midtown St. Louis MO

Compensation: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour

Work Type: Contractor On-Site at TRC Client (potential full-time in Q4)

Work Schedule: Two days per week between Monday and Thursday

Location: Midtown St. Louis, MO 63108

TRC Talent is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant (AA) for our non-profit client in Midtown St. Louis. The organization serves the region’s Hispanic/Latino business community.

Job Brief:

The part-time AA will provide administrative support to the organization and excellent customer service to our members, stakeholders, leaders, and the greater STL Hispanic/Latin community. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. You should be comfortable working with multiple bilingual and culturally diverse people in a team, helping to create a positive and inclusive environment. Someone bilingual (Spanish/English) or learning Spanish is preferred. This position reports to the Membership Engagement & Administration Manager.

Administrative Assistant responsibilities include:

  • Supporting team administratively as directed by the Administration Manager
  • Scheduling appointments, maintaining the calendar, and making travel arrangements for the President
  • Scheduling meetings, room set-up, and ensuring guests are welcomed
  • Processing and reporting on office expenses
  • General filing and office organization
  • Light bookkeeping under the direction of the Administration Manager
  • General office coordination duties
  • Maintain physical and digital records
  • Ensure IT requirements are ready for virtual and in-person meetings
  • Manage and order office supplies as needed
  • Organize company documents into updated filing systems
  • Address employees’ and members’ queries (via email, phone, or in-person)
  • Update office policy handbook as directed
  • Additional tasks and duties as assigned by Administration Manager

Requirements and skills

  • 2 years in administrative function, which may include college extracurricular or work-study experience.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office® Suite
  • Experience in QuickBooksOnline® preferred, (training provided).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
  • Flexible, adaptable, positive team contributor.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualification in office administration is a plus.

Physical Effort:

The position will require a mix of verbal and written communication, requiring extended periods in a stationary position. The position may require lifting up to 20 lbs.
