Job Title: Part Time Food Service Lead

Location: Lancaster County Career & Technical Center, Willow Street Campus.

Pay Rate: $17.00/hr

Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM

Job Description:

SOS Group is looking for a part-time Food Service Lead to join our team at the Lancaster County Career & Technical Center at the Willow Street Campus. The Food Service Lead will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of daily food preparation, serving, and clean-up. This role requires a keen attention to food handling and personal safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily food preparation, including cooking, baking, and assembling meals.

• Serve meals to students and staff in accordance with food safety guidelines.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and serving areas.

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.

• Provide leadership and direction to other food service employees.

• Step in to fulfill the responsibilities of the kitchen manager in their absence.

• Coordinate with other team members to complete daily tasks efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.

• Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Leadership experience or potential.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
