Essential Functions:Provides input to Management Team regarding disciplinary issues. Provides training and support to location staff.Performs functional duties such as customer service, cashiering, parking cars, and maintenance work as needed.Assists manager with performing all required monthly self-audits Assists with property inspections related to location cleanliness, identifying light bulb replacement for lights on parking decks, and exit signs throughout facility. Assists Manager with creating weekly schedules. Retrieves and audit revenue reports and system transactions. Troubleshoots parking equipment and escalate to manager for assistance when resolution cannot be found. Reviews and communicates with customers on account history, account past due issues, and payment confirmation. Accurately audits Cashier reports Accurately completes facility stall counts during shift. Monitors stall count and garage capacity during critical peak times and be able to appropriately react to full capacity situation.Participates in all safety and security trainings within the market. Reports any accidents, hazards or maintenance requirements, and the presence of any suspicious individuals or activities immediately to a manager. Recognizes potentially dangerous situations and respond in the safest and most effective manner. Operates and monitors facility security intercoms and surveillance monitors as applicable. Remains vigilant for anything unusual or potentially threatening and inform management immediately. Performs all duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications:· At least 1 year work experience in Parking, Real Estate, Hospitality or Retail/transportation/logistics, property management or manufacturing industry.· Computer literate, knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and Internet.· Depending on location, may be required to possess basic math skills sufficient to calculate time and money in assisting with Cashier-related duties. Eligibility Requirements:· Must submit your application for employment through www.interparkholdings.com to be considered for this position. · Must have unrestricted authorization to work in US.· Must be at least 21 years of age.· Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening including but no limited to drug testing, reference verification, MVR/Driving Record and background check.· Must have a valid Driver’s License.· Must be willing to work the following schedule: (ADD SCHEDULE)· Must be willing to work in a garage/booth/office in (Chicago, IL – Chicagoland Area).· Must be able to navigate through parking lot(s) or garages and must be able to move to assist customers in a timely manner; In some cases, may be required to travel up and down parking garage ramps in order to assist customers and address garage issues.· Must be able to pass math test as part of the selection process.· Must possess hearing and vision faculties sufficient to perform essential functions.· May be required to stand/sit at the parking pay stations for extended periods of time in order to assist customers.· May be required to work outdoors for extended periods of time depending on location.Desired Characteristics:· High School Diploma or GED.· Prior parking industry or customer service related experience.· Excellent leadership skills, and initiative.· Strong problem-solving skills: Ability to think clearly and act quickly in emergencies while providing excellent customer service.· Possess strong time management skills/multi-tasking skills to work in a fast-paced environment that depends upon customer volume, shift, season, etc.· Strong customer focus and team-orientation.· Excellent judgment and professionalism in communication with peers, customers, landlords/property management and supervisors.
