Job Title: Night Audit (1009) Department: Guest Services

Purpose of Position : Night Auditors are responsible for the front desk operation during the overnight shift, as well as conducting back office procedures.

Essential Functions:

1. Greet all guests in a cheerful manner.

2. Answer phones and make reservations.

3. Handle check-outs as needed.

4. Process no-shows according to policy.

5. Assist guests with luggage as needed.

6. Assist with guest requests.

7. Assist with minor emergency maintenance issues.

8. Run audit report per checklist.

9. Report all pertinent information in redbook and communicate with outgoing and incoming shifts.

10. Promptly report any incidents or unusual occurrences to the morning shift and the general manager.

11. Be knowledgeable and aware of all current marketing promotions.

12. Schedule wakeup calls in phone system and redbook.

13. Responsible for balancing cash drawer during shift.

14. Responsible for key control. Report any missing or damaged keys to the supervisor immediately.

15. Troubleshoot to resolve any guest issues that arise.

16. Be prepared to respond to any emergency situation.

17. Conduct security walks a minimum of 4 times per shift.

18. Set up lobby coffee service in the early morning.

19. Keep lobby and front desk area clean and tidy.

20. Maintain a tidy work area.

21. Replenish hand towels in public restrooms as needed.

22. Exhibit courteous manner with guests.

23. Effectively communicate with outgoing and incoming shifts.

24. Perform all other tasks as assigned by general manager.

4. Neat, well groomed appearance.

5. Wear appropriate company uniform, including name tag.

6. Flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays.

8. Computer proficiency including email, Word and Excel.

Accountability:

1. Follow and submit daily checklist.

2. Phone shopper report scores within acceptable range.

3. Guest survey reports within acceptable range.

4. Follow all state and federal guidelines, including OSHA Hazardous Communication training

5. Maintain a high level of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

Experience or Training Required

1. High school education, prefer some college.

2. Prefer some hotel experience or other relevant guest service experience.

3. Detail oriented.

License or Certification Required

None required

Marginal Job Functions

1. Cleaning lobby as needed.

2. Cleaning guest rooms as needed.

3. Deliver cribs and other items upon guest request.

4. Perform light maintenance duties.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
