JOB TITLE: Custodian - Part-time Seasonal

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrate initiative and able to work without close supervision
• Possess the ability to make minor repairs to equipment and building
• Manage time so that scheduled work and duties are completed daily
• Work collaboratively with others
• Demonstrate flexibility with work schedule as needed

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor and/or Building Principal

JOB GOAL: To provide students and teachers with safe, clean and attractive environment in which to learn.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Mowing fields, maintaining ball fields, painting as needed
• Dry mop or vacuum all floors, spot mop and spray buff as needed
• Clean bathrooms (sanitize sinks, ensure toilets, etc., be spotless)
• All marks on floors and walls shall be removed
• Clean and polish all drinking fountains
• Empty all wastebaskets, dispose of trash
• Keep custodial area clean and neat
• Leave a note for the Maintenance Supervisor, Building Principal or designee regarding work that is not complete
• Make minor repairs as is capable; notify Maintenance Supervisor, Building Principal or designee of all needed repairs
• Follow District policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as required and/or directed

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: In accordance with the Bartlett School District Non-Contracted Personnel Policies

WORK YEAR: April 1st- October 31st

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated by the principal and/or designee
