Melink is Hiring a Facility Services Technician Near Milford, OH
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on the building systems, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
- Perform custodial duties, such as cleaning restrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Respond to maintenance requests from employees and customers in a timely manner.
- Manage the expectations and performance of facility service contractors and suppliers.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for facility maintenance.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down for events and meetings.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage the facilities budget.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a variety of environments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in facility maintenance or a related field preferred.
- On-the-job training offered.
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
