EVENING RESIDENTIAL REGISTERED NURSE

FLSA Status: Part-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt - 20 hours per week, flexible hours, Monday through Friday
Salary Range: $32.94 - $44.56 hourly

Our residential program is located in South St. Paul and serves adults receiving Intensive Residential Treatment (30-90 days) as well as individuals needing crisis stabilization (5-10 days.) The program is staffed 24/7 and our goal is to help individuals stabilize their mental and / or chemical health while staying in a safe, supportive environment. The staff consists of a variety of vocational backgrounds and educational levels including Mental Health Counselors and Practitioners, an LICSW, Peer Support Specialist, and Nurse. Our program includes both group and individual activities and interventions.

Primary Responsibilities

This position is responsible for providing nursing services in a residential setting for individuals who have a serious mental illness and / or a substance use disorder. This position assists with the admission process including screening referrals, completing assessments, and helping the team determine immediate and ongoing recipient needs. This position provides a full range of nursing services and oversees the health management of all individuals served (15 total.)

Qualifications

• Must be licensed by the state of Minnesota as a Registered Nurse AND have one year of previous experience working with people with serious and persistent mental illnesses.

Additional Requirements

• Able to perform CPR, First Aid and respond to emergency situations.
• Be able to periodically lift and carry bags that could weigh up to 25 pounds.
• A valid Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, satisfactory driving record, and auto insurance are required.
• Must not be actively receiving services from Guild and must not have received services within the last two years.
