General Information:

Job title: Long-term Care Certified Nursing Assistant

Location: Fair View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center - Mauston, WI

Shifts Available:

• Part-time 1, PM Shift; 72 hours per pay period
• Part-time 2, NOC Shift; 24 hours per pay period

Weekend rotation: Shifts include every other weekend, weekend differential available

Holiday rotation: Holiday rotation

Position Summary:

Performs resident functions in accordance to nursing home standards of practice.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provides for resident's personal hygiene: gives bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves, and assists with showers.
• Provides for activities of daily living: assists with meals and feeds patients; ambulates, turns, and positions patients; provides fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Performs I&O; checks vital signs and weight; assists with specimen collection; and post-mortem care.
• Provides for comfort needs of residents
• Promptly answers resident's call lights and requests.
• Other duties are requested within scope of practice

Position Requirements:

Required Education:

• Successful completion of nursing assistant course
• Certified Nursing Assistant Certification to practice in the state
