Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a File Clerk. As a File Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining and organizing physical and electronic files, providing administrative support, and assisting with various office tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in an administrative role.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files in accordance with established procedures
- Perform data entry to update and maintain accurate records
- Assist with order entry and processing
- Coordinate projects and tasks as assigned
- Provide general administrative support, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments
- Assist with office management duties, such as ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
- Provide customer support and address inquiries or concerns in a timely manner
Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role is preferred
- Proficiency in computerized systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and file management
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with phone systems and customer service principles
