Accounting Assistant is responsible for assisting with accounting functions and financial reporting for TBL Services & provide support for RedTail Brokerage division accounting functions.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with processing RedTail broker division carrier bills/customer invoices and carrier payments – confirm information, prepare checks for mailing, scan documents.
• Process visa transactions in QuickBooks and prepare monthly reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable for TBL Services.
• Process Customer Insurance requests - purchase insurance and updating Insurance spreadsheet for tracking.
• Scan completed documents for future reference.

Other Job Responsibilities:

• Other Administrative and Accounting functions as needed/required.
• All other job duties that may be assigned.
• Must be able to pick up 25lbs.

Job Requirements:

• QuickBooks experience is a plus. Accounting Edge/MYOB software knowledge is a plus.
• Excel skills and ability to quickly learn various accounting procedures
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to learn quickly and to find solutions for day to day problems
• Detailed oriented
• Trustworthy with confidential information and matters
