You'll be a part of an award-winning team, enjoy a hands-on environment, and develop relationships with and enrich the quality of life for the individuals and families we serve. Must be at least 16 to be considered for this position.

Hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 5:00pm - 9:00pm - 24 hour/pay period. No weekends or holidays required!

Responsibilities:

• Perform housekeeping duties such as disinfecting, dusting, mopping, cleaning mirrors, walls and floors, empyting garbage, organizing furniture, vacuuming, and other related duties
• Use supplies per manufacturer guidelines and take care of cleaning equipment such as carpet cleaners, carts, vacuums, etc
• Keep work area and utility rooms neat, orderly, and safe
• Maintain good rapport with management, employees, residents, and residents' family members, while displaying patience, tact, and consideration
• Collect and dispose of all refuse from designated locations and operate trash compactor as assigned
• Complete all scheduled duties, special projects, and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow directions, use supplies per manufacturer guidelines and take care of clothing and equipment
• Attention to detail
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience with housekeeping and laundry duties, with general knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and supplies, as well as the operation of the cleaning equipment is encouraged. We are happy to train if necessary
• A mechanical background is a bonus
• Knowledge of chemical use, hazardous waste, and infection control practices, or willingness to learn
• Good communication skills to help promote a positive working relationship with management, employees, residents and resident's familes
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work under minimal supervision
