Position: Cleaning Specialist ๐Ÿงน

As a Cleaning Specialist at Country Manor, you will play a pivotal role in our award-winning environment, contributing directly to the quality of life for the residents, families, and people we serve. With nearly 500 residents living on our Sartell campus, we have many rooms, suites, apartment homes, and resident social areas that are incredibly important to creating an environment suitable for all who call Country Manor home. Because of our large healthcare campus setting, your days may also include visits to various areas such as our childcare center, store, pharmacy, restaurant, and outpatient rehabilitation clinic. Here, every day is a little different, which keeps things fun and exciting! But one thing remains steady; the lasting, meaningful relationships you will build โค
Responsibilities:

- Housekeeping duties, such as disinfection, dusting, mopping, mirror and wall cleaning, garbage disposal, furniture organization, vacuuming, and more
- Adhere to manufacturer guidelines in the use of cleaning supplies and proper maintenance of cleaning equipment
- Maintain orderly work areas and utility rooms
- Report necessary improvements and repairs promptly to the Director of Housekeeping and Laundry
- Cultivate positive relationships with residents, families, and visitors
- Efficiently organize and complete scheduled duties and special projects
- Adhere to facility and department safety rules
- Collaborate in supply inventory management for scheduled projects
- Perform floor care tasks such as carpet shampooing, floor buffing, stripping, and waxing as scheduled
- Carry a walkie-talkie/radio for after maintenance hours and fulfill other assigned duties
Qualifications:

- Minimum age: 18 years
- Capability and willingness to uphold responsibility for sanitation and cleanliness in assigned work areas
- Strong ability to comprehend and follow oral and written directions
- Team-oriented attitude when collaborating with residents, supervisors, and peers
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with floor care equipment is a plus
- Exhibit patience, consideration, and tact in interactions with staff, tenants, visitors, and residents
- Competence in operating a trash compactor
- Physical capability to perform required activities, including carrying up to 50 pounds
- Meticulous attention to detail

Pay Range: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour- based on experience

This is a part-time position (24 hrs/pay period), working every other Monday, Friday, and every other weekend and Holiday. The option for additional hours is available.
