We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled lab technician for our new lab in Biotech and Smart Manufacturing. The lab technician will play a key role in supporting various projects by providing technical assistance, performing experiments, and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment. Assist students and faculty in laboratory and projects. Order, receive and check equipment and supplies, perform inventory control, perform minor repairs of lab equipment. Provide lab supports for all classes held at 16 tech, ensure safety at all times. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards are met. Prepare reagents and solutions following standardized protocols and guidelines. Assist in the development and optimization of experimental protocols and procedures. Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and guidelines, including proper handling and disposal An associate or higher degree in related field. Previous experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred. Strong understanding of basic laboratory techniques and procedures. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
