Cherry Bekaert Advisory, LLC is Hiring a Remote Business Development Director - Salesforce

The Business Development (BD) Director supporting our Salesforce Alliance will focus on three technologies - Salesforce, Tableau and Mulesoft. They will work closely with our Cherry Bekaert Salesforce Delivery Team, as well as engaging with the firm partners, consultants, and professional staff in targeted industries to identify and close sales opportunities around our consulting services and software resell of specific Salesforce products. Additionally, there is an opportunity to grow existing client relationships with the goal of growing year over year revenue. Key capabilities for this BD Director role include having a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, as well as having strong communication skills and ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. This is a remote role and the BD Director will be assigned to one of our Cherry Bekaert Offices in the US.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop go-to-market strategy and build pipeline with Salesforce Delivery Team and GTM Managing Directors/Directors
  • Target Salesforce and Tableau Quarterly Business Review (QBR) meetings (on-site & remote) for Cherry Bekaert sponsorship
  • Communicate with prospects via cold calls, emails and LinkedIn to develop interest in Cherry Bekaert services and Salesforce Software products
  • Proactively develop opportunities from prospecting new and existing clients, as well as follow-up lead referrals from partners within the firm and marketing generated leads
  • Work closely with marketing to develop a focused sales & marketing strategy to leverage literature (one pagers/use cases, etc.), podcasts, webinars and other forms of campaigns to drive interest and sales opportunities for these new and existing clients
  • Attend networking events, trade shows and Salesforce/Tableau Conferences to build relationships and generate leads
  • Stay current on product information, marketing materials and Salesforce campaigns with partners
  • Build long-term, trusted relationships with prospects and existing clients
  • Track progress towards meeting sales goals on a monthly basis and consistently achieve these goals on a quarterly basis

Required Competencies, Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelors Degree in business or related field
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience working either at Salesforce/Tableau or a professional services firm supporting this technology
  • Relationships with Salesforce/Tableau/Mulesoft in several industries and focused on the Commercial/Mid-Market
  • Experience with solution selling into the C-Suite of Mid-Market businesses
  • Prior experience selling software thru a professional services channel
  • Positive and energetic phone prospecting skills and excellent listening and communication skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and effective time management
  • Understanding of proposal responses and building Statements of Work
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience utilizing a CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) to manage information on leads and opportunities
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and new business goals

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $150,000.
