PickNik Robotics is Hiring a Remote Account Executive

PickNik Robotics is a global leader in robotic software solutions and services, specializing in robot arm manipulation and controls for the $230Bn market of non-industrial robotics. Our popular open source software MoveIt is used by 10,000s of users worldwide. Our premium software MoveIt Studio is changing the way engineers program robots on Earth and in space. Last year we had $6M of annual revenue and we're planning for 50% growth this year. We have 9 years of experience delivering cutting edge applications and taking robots outside of factories for our 90 customers including Google, Samsung, Hyundai, Amazon, NASA, and Space Force, to name a few.

PickNik is seeking a dynamic and intelligent Account Executive who can talk about highly technical products while moving deals forward and building relationships. Our current sales team consists of a fractional CRO, one Account Executive for the Space Industry and an engineering proposal team, supported with strong support from the CTO and the CEO in sales activities. The Account Executive will be responsible for selling our licensed software products and integration services. Urgency, integrity, intelligence, humility, and a numerical results-driven mindset will be keys to success in this role.

What you'll be working on:

  • Achieving and exceeding your sales quota each quarter
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
  • Drive the sales strategy for each qualified opportunity. And inform other team members by documenting the strategy and holding regular deal review calls.
  • Manage full sales cycles from lead to contract conversion
  • Collaboratively write proposals.
  • Negotiate pricing, deal terms, and legal contracts.
  • Develop and nurture executive relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor on customer-centric solutions.

Requirements:

  • 5 years sales experience.
  • 3 years experience selling enterprise software and/or software services.
  • Experience working at an early stage company.
  • Entrepreneur mindset, capable and excited about generating their own pipeline.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with potential customers and build relationships.
  • Knowledge and experience in engaging both C-level executives and engineering leadership, and a solid understanding of how to work with both.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating, legal reviews, and contractual procedures.
  • Able to travel to tradeshows, conferences, and customer sales trips (30-40%).
  • US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident).
  • Live in the Boulder/Denver area and are able to be in-office 3-4 days per week.

Additional Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Deep understanding of the robotics industry and key players.
  • Technical knowledge of robotics, manufacturing, or automation.
  • Experience selling SaaS or perpetual licensed software.

Colorado Residents Only: In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary for this role varies due to commission. The minimum/maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience.
