Gulfport Behavioral Health System, a leading specialty hospital on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for over three decades, is actively seeking a dedicated BC General Psychiatrist to see our IOP/PHP adolescent and adult populations 2 hours a day Monday-Friday, with a weekly treatment team meeting.

Located in the heart of Gulfport, MS, our facility has been at the forefront of mental health care, providing a comprehensive array of services including outpatient therapy, day treatment, and specialized inpatient care for individuals starting from the age of 4 years through adulthood.

Our medical professionals enjoy a collaborative, supportive, and nurturing work environment, emphasizing personalized treatment plans for our patients, crafted by our multidisciplinary team of psychiatric experts and clinical staff, all backed by robust administrative support.

Opportunity Highlights:

• 100% remote position or on-site if preferred.
• 2 hours a day and up to 5 patients daily.
• Opportunity to treat adolescent and adult mix. 
• Competitve monthly compensation and malpractce reimbursement.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Must be Board Certified in General Psychiatry and comfortable treating ages adolescent and adult populations.
• Requires an active or pending Mississippi (MS) medical license and active DEA.
