The EQUIVEST Retail Contribution Analyst is responsible for processing high volumes of contributions and rollovers into our EQUIVEST contracts, which includes the entry of transactions into our processing system. The Analyst will compare customer and third-party checks to source documents for completeness and accuracy.

With experience, this position also includes performing contribution research and analysis, submitting adjustments, and initiating refunds, and reaching out on cases that are not in good order. The individual in this position will have daily telephone and written communication with individuals at all levels, including clients, Equitable Advisors, Financial Professionals, external vendors, and internal clients to resolve contribution discrepancies. The individual in this position may work overtime as needed to meet processing deadlines.

The base salary range for this position is $39,000 - $54,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications


Preferred Qualifications:

  • College graduate or equivalent work experience
  • Customer service experience including telephone based customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle high volumes of work in a highly efficient, organized and detail-oriented manner
  • Ability to work harmoniously in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
  • Knowledge of company products, services, and IRS Regulations a plus

Skills:

Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Results Orientation: Knowledge of the importance of meeting or exceeding established targets; ability to drive critical activities to completion.
