Our client is a healthcare provider that provides at-home nursing services to seniors and those of the disabled communities, with many locations throughout California.

We are searching for an At Home Health Care Aide to join our client’s growing workforce.

Hours : This is a full-time position, however, please keep in mind that your hours and days you work may change depending on the needs of the organization.

As the At Home Health Care Aide, you will be assigned to specific clients by the Registered Nurse or other appropriate professionals, and you will perform personal care services for clients as necessary.

You will be driving to their locations and taking care of the patients in the comfort of their homes.

You will :

• Under the direction of the therapist, perform simple procedures, such as range of motion exercises, and assist in ambulation of exercises.
• Perform personal care activities, which include, but are not limited to Bathing, Shampooing, Nail Care, Skin Care, Shaving, Dressing, and Oral Hygiene
• Perform light household services, like doing laundry, light housekeeping, and preparing meals.
• Assist in the administration of medications under the direction of the RN.
• Report any observations and changes in condition to the RN or Therapist
• Follow the guidelines in the Care Plan for the patient.
• Documenting all care provided, completing the necessary forms to maintain records, completing the appropriate records for the care given, and submitting the documents per agency requirements every week.
• Work with the team and participate in staff meetings and team conferences.
• Maintain confidentiality with all aspects of this position.
• Other duties as necessary.

This is what we will be looking for in your candidacy :

• You must have completed a formal certification training program and / or a written skills test and competency evaluation.
• You have at least 6 months of work experience in a supervised setting, preferably, in a health care facility.
• You follow instructions well, including a written Plan of Care.
• You have great communication and interpersonal skills.
• You can read and write in English well.
• Preferably, you are bilingual.
• You possess a current driver's license, are insured with the state and agency requirements, and possess a good driving record.
