Infoblox is looking for a Director of Product Marketing- Core Networking to join our Product Marketing Team, reporting to the Vice President of Product Marketing. In this remote role (anywhere US), you will be part of a dynamic team that helps shape the messaging and go-to-market strategy for our market-leading product offerings. You will have the opportunity to partner with professionals at the top of their game across various cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment with high autonomy. You will manage a team of highly talented individuals covering our core networking solutions, SaaS networking platform, Value Added Solutions, and Service Provider vertical.

This role requires a solid understanding of enterprise networking infrastructure and public cloud platforms, including Amazon AWS, Google GCP, and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be able to understand market needs and work with customers, sales, product management, and other stakeholders to develop and clearly articulate the unique value that Infoblox provides to the market.

You’re the ideal candidate if you have proven experience driving cross-functional initiatives designed to articulate value to customers, enjoy being a spokesperson for Infoblox solutions, and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop Go-to-market plans that are impactful and execute plans in a timely fashion
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Infoblox’s core networking portfolio
  • Understand our addressable market, buyer persona and content requirements
  • Ensure that messaging resonates with customers, analysts and sales
  • Work with product management and field teams to develop messaging and material to help position Infoblox’s in the minds of the buyers
  • Ensure that the message is consistent with the corporate brand yet specifically tuned to the markets in which Infoblox operates and for which the products are targeted
  • Develop content in collaboration with internal stakeholders that will help drive customer engagement, thought leadership and content marketing
  • Create sales tools, product collateral and training that reflects Infoblox key differentiators and address customer challenges
  • Develop and produce market research insight reports and detailed sales ready competitive analysis (products and technology)
  • Identify new key markets for Infoblox products and solutions

What you’ll bring:

  • 15 years of experience in product marketing/ product management, including team leadership
  • Solid understanding of applications and IT infrastructure including, DNS, DHCP & IPAM (DDI)
  • Knowledge of private and public cloud architectures including, Vmware, OpenStack, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform
  • Familiarity with evolving trends, including SDN, NFV, IoT
  • Experience leading product launches from concept to delivery
  • Experience working with sales, customers and analysts in presenting the company position and products
  • Experience in marketing products and services to enterprises, service providers and channel partners
  • Very strong written communication and presentation skills. Comfortable in front of customers
  • Willing to travel 20%
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties

What success looks like:

After six months, you will…

  • Build relationships with key stakeholder teams including sales leadership and marketing leadership
  • Be aligned with Sales and Marketing teams on key GTM priorities
  • Understand how to position our network and cloud solutions for prospects and customers
  • Present Infoblox solutions at industry events across the region, either remotely or in person

After about a year, you will…

  • Drive cross-functional initiatives designed to improve GTM execution
  • Define initiatives that drive increased awareness both internally and externally
  • Develop a close working relationship with stakeholders to deliver content effectively
  • Define the networking portfolio messaging strategy and roadmap designed to improve our GTM success

You can expect our employment offers to take many factors into consideration, including but not limited to the location of the role, internal equity, applicable past experience, individual skill set, education, and professional certifications. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned is the base salary range for the role. The typical base salary range for this position in Washington is $150,000 - $227,000 and $169,000 - 245,000 in California plus corporate bonus.
