Position Summary: Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Help Desk Analyst I– Boca Raton, FL. Summary of Responsibilities include: The Help Desk Analyst I receives incoming requests from the Help Desk Manager of Enterprise Support to resolve or expedite the resolution of computer-related problems. The nature and functionality of the projects vary by individual and change over time as necessary to accomplish the University's academic mission. Serves as a staff member for Enterprise Support within Enterprise Support and Client Engagement. This position is responsible for providing technical support to the FAU user community, including, but not limited to password resets, wireless configuration of student, staff, and faculty laptops, email support, pin-resets for Banner, Canvas and Workday support, account support, configuring smartphones, FAU-owned computer support, and creating and updating documentation. This position is required to update help desk tickets effectively and clearly. The ability to troubleshoot software, network and hardware related issues is fundamental to critical job function. Maintain/enhance technical expertise level by keeping current with industry standards and technical trends, and advance skill set by taking personal initiative. Recommends technology solutions to departments as required by his/her supervisor. Solid technical writing skills are necessary, good written and verbal skills are a must, and superior customer service skills are essential. Experience with supporting mobile devices such as iPhone, Android, and Windows phones is required. Experience with installing, supporting, and troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems and Microsoft Office365 suite is required. Customer service experience is required. Valid driver's license required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Active Directory, SCCM, Intune, Exchange, Canvas, Workday, and/or Banner preferred. Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 per year.
