Neighbors Comfort is Hiring a Service Dispatcher Near Ames, IA
Pay Scale: $20-$25 DOE
Work Hours: 7:45am to 4:45pm, Monday through Friday, with 1 hour lunch. Minimal overtime required.
Neighbors Heating and Cooling is looking for an individual to join our team. This position is full-time with opportunities to grow with the position. Primary Job Functions include:
- Maintain the service technicians' daily schedules and dispatch technicians to service calls.
- Schedule return trips with customers when parts are in.
- Maintain customer database with current information.
- Clear and concise communications with department managers, employees, and company customers, including keeping customers appraised as to company schedule and requested lead-times.
- Provide accounting with maintenance contract billing information.
- Prepare service invoices and timecards for processing.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task
- Organized
- Geographical knowledge of service area or map reading skills
- Computer skills
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two years related experience and/or training in customer service, dispatching or project management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
