Asset Control Specialist
Reporting to the Asset Manager; This role helps maintain and optimize the asset management system and procedures used to keep track of deployable and fixed assets. To ensure ongoing compliance by overseeing operational equipment inventories are currently located and support maintenance requirements.
Duties:
  • Ensure company objectives and strategies are being implemented to maintain an effective equipment program including distribution and maintenance.
  • Act as a technical advisor to Asset Manager and field staff.
  • Manage an effective maintenance and repair program, equipment safety programs, and equipment utilization.
  • Maintain files for records of inspection and asset damage forms.
  • Provides support to field operations with vehicle and equipment requests.
  • Maintain accurate inventory asset lists.
  • Ensure company preventative maintenance programs are in place for all equipment.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accuracy and efficacy of the Asset Management Program.
    • Conduct daily audits to verify program compliance.
    • Correct discrepancies in coordination with field staff.
    • Provide feedback to Asset Manager for continuous process improvement.
    • Coordinate the maintenance and upkeep of all asset barcodes.
  • Monitor the asset management dashboards in Dynamics 365.
    • Identify discrepancies between digital and physical asset allocations.
    • Correct discrepancies in coordination with field staff.
    • Ensure all asset-based reports are accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate sessions with new hires and current field staff to communicate requirements.
    • Work with identified field staff that require additional coaching.
    • Mentor new field staff on managing compliance of the asset management program.
    • Review current training material and revise as needed.
  • Maintain the pressure test certification program for compliance with the pressure test guideline.
    • Work with Regional Managers to ensure pressure sensors certification program is effective and optimized.
    • Generate a Lube Spool Certification Plan for each region and monitor its execution.
  • Conduct frequent asset audits.
    • Provide feedback to field staff of their effectiveness on the program requirements.
    • Have damaged assets removed from service as needed.
    • Ensure proper housekeeping and storing of assets is being upheld.
    • Frequently visit every operating basin to conduct asset health checks.
    • Deploy where needed to support areas that struggle to maintain the program.
  • Create and maintain a non-barcoded asset tracking plan for auxiliary supplies such as ethernet reels, pressure reels, power bundles, etc.
    • Determine quantities of every item stocked in each basin as critical spares.
  • Maintain coordination with ROC about TIRs associated with assets and modules, making sure assets are red-tagged and scanned back to the shop for servicing and maintenance.
  • Making sure asset damage forms are filled up correctly in coordination with field operations and keeping track of all the asset damage forms.
  • Keep updated with LTF and ensure equipment is available in the basin.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum high school degree or diploma required
  • Good understanding of IWS technology, operations, equipment, and assets (both deployable and fixed)
  • Basic understanding of Dynamics and Excel (database) – will be trained.
  • Interested and Willing to work on Dynamics and Excel.
  • Willing to drive and travel frequently.
  • Ability and willingness to provide support to multiple departments.
  • Good communication skills and ability to foster healthy relationships.
