In this role you will work with the leading technology for completions automation to ensure field operations are safe and efficient while also enabling our customers to access their jobs remotely and in real-time. The schedule works on a 12-hour rotational shift that includes both days and nights, as scheduled by the Remote Operating Center (ROC) Manager.

Position Summary / Responsibilities:

Preference will be given to those candidates that have previous oil and gas experience (specifically experience with frac) and those that have a drive for technology and automation. This position, for a motivated Remote Operating Center Technical Support Specialist, will leverage your previous field experience and be an excellent opportunity for those willing to learn fast and deliver quality services safely and efficiently.

Our team’s primary role is to service IWS field technician and customer field issue escalations utilizing knowledge of SIMOPs Frac Sites, oilfield practices & terminology coupled with trained knowledge of the IWS inVision Cloud Services platform, Microsoft Dynamics, and the IWS Standard Data Model. The successful ROC Technical Support Specialist-1 candidate will also assist in job setups, asset management, journey management and other operational support. The successful candidate will work from the IWS Remote Operations Center (ROC) in Fulshear, TX.

Scope of Work / Duties:

• Receive field or customer escalations at the Fulshear ROC, TX
• Respond to requests for technical assistance via phone, chat, or email
• Assist in IWS inVision Cloud Services user management, account creation and permission settings
• Remote support to field system TPI’s, Third Party Interfaces through TeamViewer
• Perform basic oilfield calculations to confirm algorithmic calculations
• Log all interactions into IWS ticketing system. Follow tickets through to resolution. This may include detailed handover responsibilities:
• Customer support for IWS inVision Dashboard features setup, navigation, and customization
• Actively contribute to the Continuous Process Improvements
• Participate in technical trainings
• Travel to remote job sites as required
• Support Journey Management
• Support Equipment tracking

Skills and Abilities:

• Oil and gas experience (specifically experience with frac)
• Interest and skills in technology and automation
• Experience using MS Dynamics and 365 Environment preferred
• Comfortable with IT, networking, and IIOT communications. The specific IWS inVision Cloud Service platform (including API) & Microsoft Dynamics training required will be provided as you onboard with our dynamic team
• Ability to take feedback and make changes to process as part of CPI
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good verbal and written communication skills a must
