Company DescriptionOur company, which was founded in 1917, has about 50 locations in the US and Europe 10,000 employees worldwide and revenues of $330,000,000, offers facility management services, including Integrated Facility Management, Operations and Maintenance, Cleaning Services, and Landscaping and Grounds ServicesJob Description-Supervise the Janitorial Operation of a site, which includes the following duties:-Inspect work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards.-Instruct staff in work policies and procedures, and the use and maintenance of equipment.-Plan and prepare employee work schedules.-Check equipment to ensure that it is in working order.-Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities in order to determine the type of work required. -Inventory stock to ensure that supplies and equipment are available in adequate amounts.-Investigate complaints about service and equipment, and take corrective action.-Issue supplies and equipment to workers-Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in janitorial services.-Assign janitorial work to employees, following material and work requirements-Inspect work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards-Record personnel data on specified forms.-Recommend personnel actions, such as hires and discharges, to ensure proper staffing.-Confer with staff to resolve production and personnel problems.-Train workers in janitorial methods and procedures and proper operation of equipment.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED-Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control-Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job -Strong organizational and scheduling skills, ability to multi-task efficiently-Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organizationQualificationsBachelor's Degree, 2-5 Years Exp.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
