About the Role:
MED-EL Corporation is seeking a talented Content Marketing Copywriter to join our marketing team and support all marketing initiatives. If hired, you will actively contribute written copy across all marketing channels while collaborating with the rest of the team to ensure a consistent match with company style, tone, and quality. The ideal candidate will be a team player with new, innovative ideas to bring value to an established, performance focused team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop copy for print and digital marketing communications including, but not limited to brochures, ads, website, email marketing campaigns, social media posts, video/audio scripts, blog articles, and more.
- Develop copy appropriate for both professional (surgeons, audiologists) and consumer audiences.
- Ensure consistency of style, tone, and quality on all copy, according to corporate design/brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand business objectives and audience.
- Collaborate with the in-house graphic designers to ensure projects are completed on time.
- Collaborate with web development team and topic experts to ensure information on the website is up-to-date and effectively communicated.
- Provide content for blogs, customer emails, social media posts, and videos based on editorial calendar and campaign objectives.
- Coordinate internal approval process for all marketing material, print and digital.
- Serve as project manager for all Marketing projects. Coordinate marketing campaigns and activities, maintain campaign calendars/schedules, ensure implementation of campaign tactics and timelines, and collaborate with project team on campaign metrics.
- Participate as an active member of the Marketing team in all activities such as team meetings, idea generation, launch activities and other team projects.
- Occasionally collaborate with external vendors on select projects.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, English, Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
- Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device fields.
- 2 years of experience in a related role.
- Ability to communicate ideas and concepts in a concise, compelling, and creative manner.
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective copy, for print and online use, targeting both consumers and professionals.
- Experience coordinating multichannel, integrated marketing campaigns.
- Proficiency in AP style of writing.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skillset.
- Strong customer service and problem solving skills.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
- Occasional travel to participate in conferences and job-related training.
- Located within - or willing to relocate/commute to – Durham, NC
