Job Position Summary:This position is responsible for monitoring inventories and direct materials in accordance with production schedules. The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for conducting daily cycle counts of the channels, issuance of materials both raw and semi-finished to the production areas, reconciliation of issued out materials and the initiation of Lean activities for the accuracy of inventory across various locations within the manufacturing facilities. Receives, organizes, and manages the flow of raw material to the production area.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Allocates materials to manufacturing orders.
• Conducts daily counts, reconciliation, and reviews potential variances.
• Conducts root cause analysis.
• Investigates and resolves errors and/or discrepancies with inventory and communicate with appropriate functional area.
• Monitors inventory levels of raw materials and semi-finished goods using both ERP system and visual management system.
• Data analysis for continuous process improvements.
• Ensures all shipments, receivers, stock moves and necessary system transactions are posted daily.
• Executes cause and corrective action investigations with regards to raw material and finished goods.
• Works with shipping and receiving as needed for inventory control.

Job Education/Experience Requirements:

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, or related field.
• 1-3 years’ experience in warehousing, inventory management, or shipping & receiving.
• Must be computer literate with good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel and capable in materials planning and scheduling systems.
