Basic Functions (or Position Summary):

Prepares and performs minor preventative maintenance on a variety of uncomplicated equipment. Performs a variety of duties in and around buildings and grounds. Assists maintenance personnel and other workers in their tasks including routine setups, fixtures and tooling. Uses simple measurement instruments to check for fixture and tooling tolerances.

Ensuring spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, recycling cardboard, and dusting surfaces. Cleaning Plant Floors, Washing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, counters, tables and restocking disposables.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs minor PM on plant equipment as assigned.
• Assist, as directed, with repairs of assembly tools, HVAC, power distribution systems, and air compressors.
• Complete grounds work which may include picking up trash, and maintaining landscaping.
• Assure safety standards are used that comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines.
• General housekeeping within the facilities and grounds.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• One-three years of experience in preventative maintenance, trouble, shooting and repair of equipment.
• Technical training is preferred.

Skills:

• Must be able to work at heights of 20-25 feet.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work off shift hours.
