Comfort Suites Loveland in Johnstown, CO is looking for one hotel houseman to join our 27 person strong team. We are located on 4851 Thompson Parkway. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and engaged.
Responsibilities
- *Ensure all areas of the hotel are secure and safe. *Assist with inventory control and ordering of supplies. *Collect pool/room towels from the pool area and on each floor, put them for laundry. *Clean and maintain both interior common areas (lobbies, hallways, restrooms) and exterior spaces, ensuring they meet property standards. *Restock linens, towels, and other housekeeping supplies in guest rooms and storage areas, supporting the housekeeping team. *Respond to guest requests and concerns with promptness and professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction. *Perform minor maintenance tasks and report major maintenance issues to ensure timely resolutions. *Monitor pool areas for safety, cleanliness, and adherence to rules and regulations, ensuring a safe environment for guests. *Provide guests with towels, assist with seating arrangements at the pool, and educate guests on pool rules and policies. *Conducting basic first aid and lifesaving procedures in emergencies, prepared to address safety concerns immediately. [We will enroll you in First Aid or similar classes if you do not have a certificate.] *Check and if necessary adjust the pool water temperature to maintain health standards and ensure the pool area, including the restroom, is clean. *Assisting in event setups, breakdowns, and room resets, following specific layout requirements. *Make sure all guests have wristbands on before entering the pool that way identify who is a staying guest and who is not. *Consult with the Maintenance Engineer, Executive Housekeeper, Front Office and General Manager as needed.
