SUMMARY

Beacon Technologies, Inc is seeking Fire Alarm Technicians.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Helper position - No experience needed. Rate of pay dependent on experience.
  • Installation of cabling, pathways and boxes
  • Installation of new Fire Alarm systems. This includes addressable networked systems.
  • Service and Repair on existing systems
  • Testing and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems
  • Follow troubleshooting guidelines and refer to technical/parts manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. to diagnose & repair equipment or systems.
  • Understand the importance of providing quality service, inspections and technical installation support
  • Adhere to all OSHA, TOSHA, and company safety policies and procedures

QUALIFICATION

  • Helper position - NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Pass drug-screen and background checks.
  • Good communication skills for effective interaction with internal & external customers.
  • Work well with little supervision, individually and in team settings.
  • Ability to lift/move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, above ceilings, etc.

  • Weekly pay, night differential when applicable

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
