Beacon Technologies, Inc is seeking Fire Alarm Technicians.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Helper position - No experience needed. Rate of pay dependent on experience.
- Installation of cabling, pathways and boxes
- Installation of new Fire Alarm systems. This includes addressable networked systems.
- Service and Repair on existing systems
- Testing and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems
- Follow troubleshooting guidelines and refer to technical/parts manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. to diagnose & repair equipment or systems.
- Understand the importance of providing quality service, inspections and technical installation support
- Adhere to all OSHA, TOSHA, and company safety policies and procedures
QUALIFICATION
- Helper position - NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Pass drug-screen and background checks.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with internal & external customers.
- Work well with little supervision, individually and in team settings.
- Ability to lift/move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, above ceilings, etc.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Weekly pay, night differential when applicable
