We are seeking a full-time Patient Eligibility and Authorizations Specialist to join our team. This will be a remote position after completion of training.

Responsibilities

• Work clinic schedules two weeks in advance.
• For existing patients, confirm existing insurance eligibility.
• Input new and updated insurance information in the system.
• Identify new patients and input their insurance information.
• Confirm new patient insurance eligibility.
• If not eligible, call patient or referring physician for correct insurance information.
• Obtain necessary authorizations in a timely manner.
• Continue to follow up on any missing information for the patient appointment one, two or more days prior to patient appointment.
• Rerun patient schedules at established intervals to identify any add-on patients for the pre-visit process.
• Ensure all required patient information needed or balance to be collected at time of visit.
• Alert account for any additional information needed or balance to be collected at time of visit with name of person to contact

• Computer skills:
• Ability to navigate payer websites

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting and viewing computer screen for extended periods, up to 85% of the time
• Keyboarding, up to 90% of the time
• Standing, up to 25% of the time
• Close visual acuity required to perform duties such as viewing computer monitor, and determining accuracy and thoroughness of work

Full-time immediate employee benefits:
