Reports To: Director of Manufacturing

Location: Houston, TX (Channelview area)

Amount of Travel Required: <10%

Work Schedule: M-F 8-5

Positions Supervised: Generator Technicians

POSITION SUMMARY: The Product Line Leader is responsible for prioritizing tasks to meet production goals, organize maximum efficiency for direct reports, supervise facility operations and develop best practice procedures to meet company deadlines and goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "May.")

  • Responsible for but not limited to, the following essential functions:
    • Overseeing production line to ensure accurate and timely execution based on customer deadlines.
    • Identifying maintenance needs within the facility and develop/optimize operating procedures for maximum efficiency.
    • Developing and tracking key performance indicators.
    • Troubleshooting and resolve any production line issues that arise.
    • Communicating regularly with upper management regarding issues impacting production line.
    • Providing guidance and training to production staff to best serve customer needs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.

Qualifications


POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Successfully passes background check and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Possesses a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
  • When on assignment at pad site, daily overtime required and in-person, predictable attendance.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL

  • At least 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • High School diploma required.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES

  • Able to communicate in a technical manner with clients.
  • Fluent in ERP Systems, specifically around manufacturing orders and costing.
  • Ability to work within a team concept to successfully complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability to take instruction well and interact with other employees in a positive manner within the framework of assigned work groups.
  • Efficient at Microsoft office (word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook)

The Product Line Leader primarily works in a warehouse/shop environment that makes them susceptible to common hazards such as physical strain, moving machinery, loading, unloading, falling objects, slips, trips, and falls. Daily required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach and squat/kneel. Additionally, the Product Line Leader may work indoors and could be subjected to prolonged periods of sitting at a at a desk station, keyboarding and using repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and or fingers. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus while reading and staring at computer monitor. They will also need to speak clearly and audibly, as well as have the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and /or other sounds (e.g., building alarms) deriving from in person speech, telephone, or other remote speech. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.When required to visit a wellsite, work environment includes exposure to hazardous materials, operating conditions, audio up to 85 dB and inclement weather. Given these conditions employees are required to wear company mandated and issued personal protective equipment (PPE) (fire retardant coveralls, safety hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection and safety gloves) and must strictly adhere to all safety policies. The Product Line Leader may be required to lift heavy objects; therefore, must be able to lift 49 lbs. independently, and 50 100 lbs. with a team lift.

Work hours may include early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
