Responsible for General Accounting activities. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, various month end JEs and monthly analysis of expenses. The general accountant is the back up and support to Accounts Payable. Responsible for special projects as requested by management.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: (include, but not limited to):

· Prepare and post various G/L Journal entries

· Investigate and correct posting errors

· Prepare monthly closing reconciliations for review by Senior Accountant

· Support Senior Accountant in monthly close, including Post JE checks, Rec rollforwards and other duties as requested.

· Prepare financial analysis as requested

· Act as back up and support to Accounts Payable

· Perform other tasks as needed and assigned by management

Educational and Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in performing similar accounting functions
• ERP software experience preferred
• Solid knowledge of general accounting systems and processes
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with management

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able for sit for long periods of time at a computer workstation

• Telephone system

Work Schedule:

• Ability to work flexible hours, with additional time as needed
• Less than 1% unplanned absenteeism is expected
