Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Administer medication according to prescribed guidelines and maintain accurate records
- Monitor and record vital signs of individuals under your care
- Assist with transportation to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals in accordance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:
- Previous experience in social work, caregiving, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals who may have limited mobility
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Experience with medication administration is a plus
- Understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with individuals, families, and other staff members
