The ideal candidate will be POSITIVE and ENTHUSIASTIC, and have a passion for supporting our team and community. The right person for this job will have a knack for explaining complicated Health Care Insurance and 401(k) plans to an accountant, but also to "the talent", with equal amounts of ease. If you are FRIENDLY and willing to learn, while building relationships with new and existing teammates, you'll be a great addition to our team!

We are a fairly young company that is growing at break-neck speeds, so things will change quickly, and we promise you will NEVER be bored! We are only looking for teammates that reside in the Scottsdale/ Phoenix Arizona area and are able to be in our studio office five days a week Monday through Friday from about 8am to about 5pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Deliver EXCELLENT customer service to our employees with patience, kindness and compassion at all times
• Respond to HR questions from employees and the leadership team in a timely manner
• Ensure confidentiality and respect for the privacy of employee records
• Manage and conduct the employee onboarding process.
• Oversee our annual performance reviews, quarterly conversations, and employee performance improvement plans.
• Maintain Employee Handbook.
• Manage and administer group health insurance and 401(k).
• Manage Employee Workers’ Compensation Plan, Claims, and Audits
• Manage Employee Personnel Files.
• Ensure legal compliance throughout Human Resource Management.
• Manage the Employee Ethics Hotline.
• Prepare and complete unemployment inquiries.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Experience as HR Specialist - preferred 2 years experience
• Experience with UI claims, 401(k) administration, Health Insurance Administration and other HR related issues
• Knowledge of employment laws
• Experience in data collection, entry, and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality
• Computer savvy with proficiency in Google Docs and Google Sheets
• Exquisite math and numerical skills and phenomenal interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with employees regarding their issues and concerns
• Sound decision making skills with the ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with specific deadlines
• High school diploma or equivalent
