Billing Manager Law Firm

Established Law Firm is seeking a Billing Manager Specialist with law firm experience to join a prestigious law firm in the Dadeland area of Miami! The candidate will work closely with other members of the accounting area including the Firm Administrator in the handling of the day-to-day billing operations of the firm.

Billing Manager Job Duties:

• Preparation and distribution of prebills.
• Perform edits and correction of mark-ups on prebills
• Create and distribute bills via mail, e-mail and electronically
• Open and close clients/ matters on PerfectLaw
• Update and maintain timekeeper billing rates
• Manage working case list and create reports
• Send monthly collection spreadsheets to Clients
• Assist and back-up to A/P & A/R

Billing Manager Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required i
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Must be experienced with law firm billing processes specifically electronic billings
• 3 years’ experience working in law firm Billing Dept.
• Ability to work well independently and effectively prioritize assignments
• Ability to respond effectively to clients’ questions and needs
• Knowledge of PerfectLaw a plus!
