Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the general health and well-being of residents through the delivery of comprehensive and high-quality services in a convalescent and rehabilitation setting and mentor nursing assistants. To excel in this role, you should have an interest in health care and keep the patient's needs as your top priority. As a Solantra employee, you will be responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies and industry standards.

What You’ll Do

The Registered Nurse will provide basic nursing care to patients and residents including but not limited to administering medication and treatment for long-term care and short-term sub-acute residents.

• Plans and manages patient care according to their needs
• Monitor health condition & record response & side-effects to medication & treatments.
• Obtain patient's vital signs and provide routine patient care
• Accurate administration of medication & treatments.
• Plan and manage patient care according to their needs
• Monitor health conditions, record response and side effects to medication and treatments
• Obtain patient vitals and provide routine care
• Assist physicians
• Provide wound care
• Administer enemas and monitor catheters
• Insert indwelling and intermittent catheters
• Provide nursing assessments with appropriate diagnoses, & interventions with patients.
• Safely implement Special Treatment Procedures.
• Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Educate patients & families in medication & care management.
• Direct subordinates in the performance of their duties.

What You’ll Need

• Nursing degree (ADN or BSN)
• Valid Minnesota state Registered Nurse License
• BLS Certification
• Must consent to and pass a pre-employment drug screen
• The ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions and to legibly, accurately, and concisely maintain nursing records and charts
• Flexibility - you must adapt to changing workloads and/or interruptions
• A valid driver's license

Current Job Requirements:

• We are looking for a talented and highly motivated individual who wants to be part of a team-oriented organization
• Our nurses are responsible for providing care to patients within their scope of practice as defined by the MN State Board of Nursing
• Nurse must submit proof of TB test results and covid card/or exemption letter.
• Must complete annual assessments prior to picking up shifts
• Nurse must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test
