- As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the general health and well-being of residents through the delivery of comprehensive and high-quality services in a convalescent and rehabilitation setting and mentor nursing assistants.
- To excel in this role, you should have an interest in health care and keep the patient's needs as your top priority.
- As a Solantra employee, you will be responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies and industry standards.
- The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide basic nursing care to patients and residents this includes but is not limited to administering medication and treatment for long-term care and short-term sub-acute residents.
- Plans and manages patient care according to their needs.
- Monitor health conditions & record response & side-effects to medication & treatments.
- Obtain patient's vital signs and provide routine patient care.
- Accurate administration of medication & treatments.

- Provide wound care.
- Administer enemas and monitor catheters.

- Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
- Assist with educating patients & families in medication & care management.
