Pompey Automotive Group is looking for a Parts Manager to help support our team in Tunkhannock, PA and provide customers with exceptional experience. The Parts Manager will manage parts inventory, order parts, sell parts to customers, and supervise parts staff. The Pompey Automotive Group is one of the largest family owned and operated dealerships in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Our dealerships offer 6 brands at 4 locations. Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
Communicate with customer on parts status.
Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Be able to read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts.
Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
Provides high level service to internal and external customers.
Pulls and fills orders from stock.
Maintain weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock.
Order out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization.
Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a Parts Manager
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and within a team environment.
Familiarity with automotive parts and accessories
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Problem solving skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
