Job SummaryCoordinates the flow of food product, ticket times, and presentation of all food items set in pick-up window. Facilitates the proper communication between the Cooks and the Front of the House team members. Assists Servers in tableside service as needed. Ensures quality service to all guests. Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinating food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each table.Ensure ticket cook times meet or exceed high standards.Communicate between the service staff and kitchen staff.Complete all plate presentations per the plate presentation specifications with portion control, garnish, temperature, and clean tableware.Meeting special guest requests while ensuring high-quality standards.Ensures expeditor area is stocked and ready for service and clean and organized following service.Designates/or delegate’s food runners for efficient delivery of food items to proper table and seat number.Monitors all food returned, and alerts management to concerns and assists in documentation of food waste logs.Assists all positions as necessary to promote positive teamwork.Greet guests in a professional and friendly manner.Knows and practices all health and safety practices and procedures.Performs all side work duties as assigned or requested by Supervisor and/or Manager.Responsible to learn menu items preparations to include features.To perform the position of food runner as needed.Performs other duties as required. Job SpecificationsCompetencies:Restaurant experience required.ServSafe Certification preferred, but not required.Clear and concise verbal communication skills.Able to read labels and directions.Self-directed and able to maximize use of time and resources.Ability to work under pressure and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.Dependable and meets goals.Exemplifies professional conduct and adherence to company Core Values.Education:High School or equivalent required.Physical & Other Requirements:While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
