Job SummaryAs part of our Food and Beverage team, a Server provides friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesMake specific beverage, appetizer, entrée, and dessert recommendations for resort guests.Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in an accurate and timely matter.Pre-bus tables between each course.Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignment.Complete opening and closing checklists.Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas.Monitor, observe and check on guests during dining experience.Ensure we have exceeded our guest's experience in our food and service.Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.Other duties as assigned. Job SpecificationsCompetencies:TIPS/TAMS Certified. May be obtained after employment.Previous experience as a server a plus.POS experience a plus.Clear and concise verbal communication skills.Self-directed and able to maximize use of time, resources and technology.Exemplifies professional conduct and adherence to company Core Values.Education & Experience:High School or equivalent.Physical & Other Requirements:While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
