Installation & Maintenance Technician

CO-Energy continues to grow and we need a qualified individual to fill the new Installation & Maintenance Technician position. 

This position will support our three Yakima facilities with basic installation of pump equipment and the general basic maintenance of company-owned semi-trucks and trailers.

This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. The standard work schedule is Day shift Monday -Friday. 

This is a safety sensitive position. A pre-employment drug screen that tests for the recent use of Cannabis will be required.

Compensation:

• $22 - $28 per hour depending on experience and qualifications

Normal Job Duties:

• Installation of pre-assembled low-voltage, low-hp pumps which are attached to fuel tanks and totes. Installations will be on new tanks/totes or replacing existing pumps. No electrician/electrical work is involved.
• Delivery and placement of fuel tanks and totes to customer sites.
• Basic maintenance of semi-truck equipment including routine lubricating weekly.
• General inspection of semi-truck and their attached tankers for damage, brake and tire life, fluid levels, filters, lights, gauges, leaks and other applicable parts.
• Unloading oil products from rail cars into tanks and totes with large hoses.
• Maintain general cleanliness of company property and report any areas that would need additional resources to clean or repair.
• Complete all tasks while following all safe work rules.
• Work independently while completing routine tasks and checklists
• Assist any other department as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of semi-truck or vehicle general maintenance work experience.
• 1-3 years of work experience with basic pump equipment
• Clean driving record: no more than one (1) moving violation or at-fault accident in the last three (3) years
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout the work day
• Ability to operate a hose reel and meters
• Ability to read, understand and fill out maintenance records and work orders in English

Desired Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of maintenance work experience of fleet semi-trucks.
• Commercial Driver License (CDL).

Physical Working Conditions:

• Work outdoors in all weather conditions – regularly
• Lifting, bending, reaching, climbing (ladders), crawling under vehicles - regularly
• Carrying hoses and other tools that weigh up to 50 lbs. - regularly
