Job Title: Certified Asbestos Tester

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Salary: $30/HR
Job Description:
Dry Force Corp. is seeking a Certified Asbestos Tester to join our team in Dallas, Texas. As a Certified Asbestos Tester, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and assessments to identify the presence of asbestos in various structures, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive asbestos inspections in residential and commercial properties throughout the Dallas area.
- Collect samples of materials suspected to contain asbestos following established protocols.
- Drop of samples collected at the lab for a laboratory analysis to determine asbestos content and type.
- Interpret test results accurately and prepare detailed reports outlining findings.
- Provide expert guidance and recommendations for asbestos remediation and abatement projects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to asbestos testing and abatement.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures to minimize exposure to asbestos and protect personal health and safety, as well as the health and safety of others.
- Maintain accurate records of testing procedures, results, and homeowner or property manager communications.
Requirements:
- Certification as an Asbestos Inspector by the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS).
- IICRC Certification preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in asbestos testing and inspection.
- Strong understanding of asbestos regulations, including EPA and OSHA guidelines.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret test results.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
