Job description

Job Summary

The Customer Service Dispatcher is responsible for answering the phones and responding to all emergent or non-emergent calls. Each call will require assistance or important information. Their main duties include logging each call, providing answers to questions by retrieving information from the necessary departments and supervising the field units’ routes to prioritize and organize their schedules.

What you’ll do

  • Answer all incoming calls and gather information
  • Enter every new customer into company system
  • Update existing jobs with new information – notes, documents, photos, etc.
  • Confirm property ownership through county website
  • Dispatch technicians to new jobs
  • Manage daily route schedule
  • Take calls from technicians as it relates to scheduling mitigation activities – schedule crew
  • Check & respond to online leads within 5 minutes or less
  • Review job statuses, update as needed, ensure we are following up on leads and job documentation is in the file
  • Upload all testing samples to company system and notify appropriate team member of results
  • Send all invoices to AP and upload to file in company system
  • Create new job folders for water and mold projects including necessary paperwork
  • Call customers for quality control survey
  • Create and send marketing reports for customer outreach weekly
  • Support division manager with scheduling tasks as needed
  • Attend required meetings

What you’ll need

  • High School diploma/GED
  • excellent communication skills to collaborate with others under any type of condition
  • Excellent clerical and organizational skills to keep track of schedules, routes, and personnel
  • Knowledge of computers for scheduling and other dispatching duties
  • Ability to multitask with different, and sometimes conflicting, events happening at the same time
  • Ability to work under stress and remain calm and to calm other people during rapidly changing circumstances
  • Ability to relay information in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
