Summary

The Director, Sales and Revenue Operations is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of sales operations to drive efficiency, productivity, and revenue growth within the organization. This individual collaborates with sales leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to develop, implement and optimize Asurint sales operations that maximize sales performance and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements sales operations strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize sales performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Partners with sales leadership to define sales goals, objectives, and KPIs, and establishes metrics to measure performance and effectiveness.
  • Reviews past performance and recommends improvements to existing sales processes using a data-driven approach; creates/maintains a framework for a scorecard to track progress and identify areas for growth.
  • Leads the development and implementation of sales forecasting and planning processes to accurately predict sales performance and drive informed decision making.
  • Develops company, team, and individual revenue forecasts to assess talent within sales and account management and conducts market analysis to identify current trends and areas of opportunity for growth.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and customer success, to align sales operations initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Oversees the design, implementation, and management of sales systems, tools, and technologies to support sales processes and enable sales teams to achieve their targets.
  • Reviews and analyzes the current quota model to ensure targets are based on realized revenue, develops guidelines for incentive plans to motivate sales teams to achieve their targets, and establishes clear rules of engagement to ensure alignment and collaboration across the organization.
  • Analyzes sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement and provides insights and recommendations to sales leadership.
  • Drives continuous improvement and optimizes sales processes, workflows, and systems to enhance efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness.
  • Identifies client-facing process gaps and product learning challenges through KPI analysis and partners with cross-functional teams to adjust processes in training curriculum to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Leads and develops a high-performing sales operations team, provides coaching, guidance, and support to drive individual and team performance.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Experience leading and managing sales operations teams, with strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills is required.
  • Experience understanding sales processes, methodologies, and best practices, with the ability to design and implement effective sales operations strategies and initiatives is required.
  • Experience successfully driving sales performance and operational excellence is required.
  • Experience in sales analytics, forecasting, and reporting, with the ability to analyze data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions is required.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization is required.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results in a rapidly evolving business landscape is required.
  • Experience with the legal/court system is preferred.
  • Experience with background screening is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required. Relevant business management systems such as general ledger, HRIS, CRM, etc. is preferred. Salesforce is required. 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Certifications or licensure: Driver’s license and ability to maintain a driving record that is satisfactory to the company’s liability insurance carrier is required.
  • Years of relevant experience in sales operations, sales management or similar role: 5 to 7 years is required.
  • Years of experience supervising: 3 to 5 years is preferred.

Working Conditions

  • The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions typical of offices, including the need for general safe workplace practices with office equipment and computers, avoidance of trips and falls, and observance of fire regulations.
  • This position is performed remotely within the United States or in an office setting in the Cleveland, Ohio headquarters, although off-site meetings in various settings may occur.
  • Inside Asurint’s office environment, the noise level is usually quiet to moderate.
  • In a remote setting, the employee is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment, for arranging the off-site workspace in an ergonomically sound manner, and for maintaining standard Internet speeds in order to work effectively.
  • In a remote setting, the employee is required to ensure that all equipment and records that are the property of Asurint but have been relocated to the off-site workplace, are maintained in a safe and secure manner and are used only for business purposes. 
  • The schedule is generally normal Eastern Time Zone business hours (unless otherwise communicated based on position or working location), although the employee may be required to perform work, attend meetings and events before or after normal workings hours, and occasionally on weekends and evenings. 
  • Some travel by personal automobile and a valid driver’s license is required. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Ability to lift light objects (less than 20 pounds) and carry them short distances (20 feet or less) is required.
